Welcome to Eastern Phantasia. Our ensemble pays tribute to and embodies the spirit of the flying apsaras that grace the walls of Dunhuang's ancient grottoes. Gowns flowing and instruments in hand, these celestial goddesses of the arts are depicted in paintings that date back thousands of years. They are the inspiration behind Eastern Phantasia's music and unique identity.

Gold at Huain Cup 2013.01.26 Eastern Phantasia (formerly Fei-Tian) received top honors at the Huain Cup, an international Chinese music competition. Civic leaders at the award ceremony included Consul General GAO Zhansheng, Cupertino Deputy Mayor Gilbert Wong, and former Union City Mayor Mark Green. Peidong Xu, VP of the Chinese Federation of Literary and Art Circles and one of China's foremost composers and conductors, presented the group's medals and trophy. The outcome marked a great success for the ensemble's first competition.
